I am a trained Holistic Nutritionist and I have never been on a diet.
Truthfully, I also don't ever recommend diets to my clients either. I don't work on 'cheat days'. I don't work on counting calories. I don't work on fat-free, sugar-free, carb-free, or whatever it may be!
The word 'diet' and the conditioning of what is 'bad and good' has created so much shame, guilt, stress, and anxiety around food.
This conditioning has moved you away from a deep spiritual connection with your body and the food you consume.
The Pleasure Diet is an invitation to redefine your experience with food.
To see nutrition as a deeply pleasurable experience.
To see nutrition as complete freedom.
To fall in love with educating yourself on the healing power of foods.
Food isn't meant to be restrictive or stressful.
Food is meant to be thoroughly enjoyed (just ask the Taurus in me, which loves a good food experience!)
And I believe that as soon as you make food your enemy, or something to be feared of, or something that is a reward for a job well done you miss the true healing power of food and its pleasurable experience!
You increase your stress and can create further emotional blocks when constantly over obsessing about the foods you consume.
You can have a healthy relationship with food when you drop into deep embodiment. By understanding what your body is asking for, not what your mind is depriving you of or telling you can or cannot have.
Healthy, nutrient dense, nutritious foods from the earth can be deeply healing to our bodies, they can truly liberate us!
It can also be deeply healing to consume your favourite treat you would enjoy as a child guilt-free (sprinkled donuts anyone?!)
First, you must get to the root of your blocks, heal any conditioning and programming and then redefine and rediscover your relationship to food through pleasure, play, freedom and creativity!
When you develop a spiritual relationship with food, you will have a deep respect and spiritual connection for the foods that heal your sacred body, thus choosing foods that nourish you most often.
Healing food choices can physically heal your body, support your organ health and function, while bringing energy and vitality to your life!
Healing food choices have the ability to naturally realign the body, and heal your health concerns or symptoms.
Healing foods can also support your mind to be strong, can bring aliveness to your soul and help manage your mood and emotions!

What is the food plan during this course?
The intuitive meal plan and recipe book is focused on real, nutrient dense, quality foods. There is quality organic meat options along with many vegetarian and vegan options as well. You get to choose how you structure your days and weeks. The options are there for you so you can find more play and pleasure!
Are there any food restrictions during this course?
No. That is the beauty of it! There are suggestions of course within the intuitive meal plan and recipe book. I will be discussing the health benefits physically, emotionally and spiritually when it comes to choosing nourishing foods from the earth that our bodies are asking for. But you are not restricted in any way. If your inner child wants a cookie one day, then go for it. The more we deprive our bodies the more we want that thing. Watch your relationship shift and how often you'll choose the more nourishing option by getting to know your body, its cravings and what's deeply healing for it.
Is this course good for gut healing?
Absolutely. Gut health is my jam! It's how I started my business many years ago working with clients one on one and group programs. Your gut is like your second brain, and directly connected to mood! So this is absolutely addressed throughout the course. Take care of your gut, and your mind, mood and emotions will also be at their best! You will learn all the nourishing foods, tips and tricks to keep your gut healthy and happy.
Is this course good for balancing hormones?
Yes. My other love is adrenal health, thyroid health and taking care of your stress hormones. You will learn a lot about organs in the body responsible for healthy and happy hormones. If you are someone that struggles with this area we will be diving into the emotional and stress piece of balanced hormones and the foods and herbs that can support you on an every day basis.
Is this course helpful for increasing energy?
Absolutely. Food can fuel us in massive ways! Our emotional and spiritual relationship with food can either drain us, making us feel frustrated and incomplete or make us feel alive, divine, embodied in a sensual and alive experience with the foods we consume! Your energy will increase by both the foods you choose and the energy in which you approach your relationship with preparing your meals, honouring your meals and consuming your meals.
Will this course help with weight loss?
I don't discuss weight within my practice. For a few reasons, the first because I truly believe we all need a little more love, compassion and acceptance for our bodies. You are beautiful! Your body, vitality and health that wakes up with you each day is a blessing! Second, when focusing on nourishing foods, healing the gut and balancing hormones, you may lose weigh naturally and in a healthy way. However, that is not our goal, or focus within this course. The course is to liberate you from the constructs that you must look a certain way, achieve a particular weight in order to be worthy, loved and accepted. We will be shifting your mindset within this space.
Is this course still for me if I don't consider myself spiritual?
Absolutely. I have come to learn that spirituality needs to be approached in a more grounded way. You simply being alive is spirituality! And you wanting to shift how food makes you feel in a positive and healthy way is also a miracle and a spiritual experience. You don't have to use all the spiritual lingo to receive huge benefits from this course. You simply coming in with an open mind and an open heart, and a willingness to approach your relationship to food differently is more than enough!
