Chocolate Cinnamon- Nutmeg Smoothie
Calling all chocolate lovers! Yum yum yum! Sometimes we need to switch it up from the regular green smoothies and give ourselves a chocolatey treat. This creamy smoothie is loaded with magnesium (a common mineral many of us are deficient in!), protein, healthy fats and fiber. The chia seeds are a concentrated source of omega-3 fatty acid, a great sources of dietary fiber and contains vitamins and minerals. The raw cacao powder is sugar free and is high in flavonoids (antioxidant and anti-inflammatory health benefits) and magnesium. And the pecans are high in protein, magnesium, manganese, flavonoids and vitamin E. So many incredible health benefits and it tastes like dessert! This smoothie does contain caffeine, so an over consumption can cause side effects. Bring this smoothie into the rotation with your green smoothies, as it's important that we aren't dependent on this caffeine stimulating substance.

- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (carageenan free!)
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 tsp. raw cacao powder
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tbsp. chia seeds
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil
